Sr. Java Software Engineer

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.

Must have Qualifications
Using the following technologies and methodologies, the Senior Java Software Engineer will provide progressive and best in class solutions to a variety of restful services, applications, and data systems. Must have current hands-on experience for following technologies:
Core Java and JDK 8

  • Unit and Integration testing experience using Junit
  • J2EE, Spring Framework and JPA / Hibernate
  • Maven, Git and Jenkins
  • JSON RESTful web service development
  • Experience developing in a cloud environment (Azure preferred)
  • Solid understanding of core java concepts and design patterns
  • JDBC, RDBMS, Cassandra, Kafka, ActiveMQ or IBM MQ
